Yay! apocalypse_kree is coming to a close now! In fact, it may already be August 12 in Australia/NZ, and that means that you can start posting finished fic.

You may post completed stories at any time between now and next weekend, August 18. Although, honestly, if you're going to be a little late, that's fine too. If you can't finish at all, please be honest about it, it's only your soul after all. ;) Submit your soul bits to me and enjoy reading the other stories. Nothing irritates me more than people who simply disappear from a ficathon without a word and act as if it never existed.

You may post your story here under an LJ cut, or you can post to your own LJ and link to it. (I prefer a link to your own LJ, but if you have a problem with posting fanfic in your journal for whatever reason, please feel free to just post directly to the community.) Either way, please include a proper header, including:

I just want to thank everyone for signing up to write in this ficathon, for pimping it, for being so good-natured about it! You're all really excellent, and I can't wait to read the fic! I think we'll definitely do this again.

Also, if there's an unclaimed prompt here that you really want to write but maybe you simply didn't want to join a ficathon or have the time, feel free to claim it and write the story anyway, at any time. You could post the link here, even if it's months later, for everyone to enjoy. The prompts might as well not go to waste. ;)

Er, well, I suppose it'd would be whenever you finish your story, as long as you're intending on finishing it. I'm not as worried about late entries in this ficathon since it's not an exchange and therefore no one will be left without a fic. But if you're going to take a month to finish, you might want to tell me so I know you're not just bailing and I don't take your soul bits. ;)

I'm definitely going to finish mine (I'm over 8000 words - not quitting now) but it'll take a miracle for it to not be late and I'd rather take the time to revise it properly than just rush and post.

Okay. I'm definately going to be late with this story. I got a good groove going, and then I worked all those extra hours at work, and I've been busy with getting a new job and planning this big camping trip this weekend that my boyfriend spontaneously decided we should do and OMG. I feel like junk. It's going to be a couple weeks for my story, if that's cool.
