One of the teams brought back a plague to Atlantis, and it did not take long before she was the only one left alive, probably due to the naquadah in her blood or possibly changes made by Jolinar when she was her host. She didn't know if the plague had spread to Earth, but it was likely. One crew member had returned there shortly before the plague broke out, and now no one responded when she tried to contact Earth.
