You can find the Any and SG-1 prompts over here.

If you haven't already, please read the the rules before claiming a prompt.

Some of these prompts will look familiar while others are brand new. The prompts are sorted to the best of my ability and roughly in alphabetical order, but if you're looking for a particular character, search is your friend.

Prompt claiming is first come, first served. Please check that no one else has claimed your prompt before requesting one.

If you're claiming a current prompt, please post your claim on the post where it appears. If you're requesting an old prompt, please request it on the rules post.

SGA Prompts

298. Any, AU starting from "The Return". The Asurans never show up in orbit of Atlantis and so Tria's crew of Ancients retain control of the city. Sometime later the Lanteans receive a message from the SGC stating that Earth is being overrun by the Ori/Goa'uld/Wraith/Asurans/whomever and that the survivors are desperately hoping to get asylum on Atlantis.

299. Any, before Earth is conquered/destroyed, the surviving Tau'ri refugees on board the Atlantis city-ship flee their doomed world. They're forced to hide in the one place their enemies will never find them – on a rogue planet without a sun or a moon, forever hurtling through the dark void of space. (For those of you who don't know what a "rogue planet" is, here is some info: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rogue_planet and http://news.stanford.edu/news/2012/february/slac-nomad-planets-022312.html )

300. Any, just before Earth is destroyed/conquered, humanity's last evacuees flee to Atlantis in San Francisco harbor. The city leaves the atmosphere but doesn't have enough power to fly to another star system. Atlantis ends up landing in the methane seas of Titan (Saturn's moon) and Earth's survivors must try their best to rebuild human civilization there.

301. Any, the Tau'ri and a few of their allies didn't go to Pegasus to explore, they used it to escape.

302. Any, When Atlantis appears in Earth's orbit, it is not as a savior but as a conqueror (EatG AU, kind of)

303. Alicia Vega, working as a marksmen for the anti-Goa'uld insurgency.

304. AR-1 & Cadman & Lorne & Elizabeth. They were the only survivors in the City, the Gate was working but couldn't connect to any planets.

305. Col. Ellis &/or Col. Caldwell &/or Col. Carter – infusing the Apollo/Daedalus/Phoenix with the Wraith's living, breathing biotechnology and wiring was wrong on so many levels. But it's not like he/she had much say in the matter now.

306. Detective John Shepherd, Pete Shanahan, Sarah Gardner|Osiris – John was working with the new guy, a recent transfer from Denver. They were investigating Sarah Gardner, wanted in connection with the mysterious death of her university colleagues. For several years she vanished off the face of the Earth only to reappear suddenly as a leader of a doomsday cult in Nevada, proclaiming herself to be the Herald of Anubis tasked with destroying the world or some such nonsense...

307. Jeannie Miller, Nancy Sheppard, the last person she expected to meet in a small town in the middle of nowhere and at the end of the world was her brother's best friend's ex-wife.

308. John/Ronon - it was a long road, and only a small chance of safety at the end.

309. John/Ronon(/& Teyla). Atlantis is gone and they are the only survivors, but Teyla was off-world at the time and there's a chance she's still alive.

310. McKay. For the first time in his life, he hadn't been able to pull off a last-minute save. Instead, he'd been forced to watch from within a safe cocoon as a chain reaction of explosions engulfed everything he'd once held dear.

311. RepliWeir, Any – rather than attempt "digital ascension" on their own, Asuran-Weir & her companions attempt to contact Atlantis and request assistance. That's when they learn that Atlantis (& Earth too if you want) was destroyed by the Big Bad of your choice. Now Elizabeth flies her Aurora-battleship across the galaxy, fighting Wraith & righting wrongs along the way while she searches for the survivors from the expedition among the human worlds of Pegasus.

312. Rodney - there was almost no hope, but he had to know if Jeannie was still there.

313. Sam &or/ Sheppard. See no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil (, do no evil).

314. SGA team. There were so many times when things could have gone wrong, so why now? Why here?

315. SGA. AR-1. Finding another working Atlantis Class Cityship should've been a great thing, but it wasn't. It really, really wasn't.

316. Sheppard & Ronon. Ronon knew what it felt like to lose everything. John still had to learn.

317. Sheppard & Teyla & Lorne, any. They'd been on Earth for a review, and were giving a few of the higher-ups a tour of Earth in a Puddlejumper (or two), when they suddenly saw simultaneous attacks spaced more or less evenly around all of the planets' landmass.

318. Sheppard & Teyla. "You can't cross the sea merely by standing and staring at the water." - Rabindranath Tagore

319. Sheppard &or/ any female, any. He's been waiting alone in the middle of nowhere for a tow truck for nearly eight hours when a chopper arrives to take him back to the SGC for an emergency meeting.

320. Sheppard/Carter. Atlantis sheltered them when everything else went to pieces. But how do you rebuild without people? How do you go on when it's just the two of you?

321. Sheppard/Carter. When they stepped out of that time dilation field five minutes later, it was the year 4315.

322. Sheppard/Nancy. A year after they survived the apocalypse they decided to give their relationship another chance.

323. Sheppard/Ronon. Earth has been devastated, Atlantis is missing, there are hardly any survivors, and no one knows what happened or why.

324. Sheppard/Ronon. When they wake up they're alone on a Milky Way planet neither of them has ever been to, and while the Gate works it won't connect to Earth, Atlantis (which is on the dark side of the Earth's Moon), or the Beta/Gamma Sites.

325. Sheppard/Ronon/Cam/Teyla and/or Sam. Finally being able to be poly-amorous wasn't a good enough reason to be happy that they had lost pretty much everything else.

326. Sheppard/Teyla. She taught him how to move on, even while she had lost everything too.

327. Vala & Teyla & Amelia Banks. When it came down to it, the average planet in the Pegasus Galaxy wasn't that much different from the average planet in the Milky Way.

SGU Prompts

328. Any, "Alliance" AU. The Lucian Alliance decimates both Washington and Homeworld Command by successfully detonating its 50-70 megaton naqahdria bomb at the Pentagon.

329. Any Ursini – the fall of their civilization.

330. Any Ursini, Any Tau'ri – Destiny's crew successfully drains the Ancient Seed Ship's energy reserves and is able to open a wormhole to Earth. The Ursini on board the Seed Ship have no choice but to travel to the SGC with the humans. They must now adjust to life on Earth knowing very well they might be the last survivors of their entire race.

331. Any, When Icarus Base is attacked, Rush is prevented from dialing the ninth chevron by Sergeant Riley & Col. Young. They dial Earth instead and evacuate to the SGC. But before the Stargate can be shut down the naquadria core deep beneath the Icarus Base explodes, the blast traveles through the open wormhole and devastates Earth.

332. Destiny survived the end of its creators. Will it survive the end of its new crew, and how does it stave that off? (with the ship's AI as a character, please)

333. Scott & Greer, Desert, trail, impulse.

334. SGU, they didn't dial the ninth chevron in the pilot, but what they did dial didn't get them home either. Or at least, this can't be home, can it?

Crossover Prompts

335. Any, "Alliance" AU. The Lucian Alliance decimates both Washington and Homeworld Command by successfully detonating its 50-70 megaton naqahdria bomb at the Pentagon.

336. Any, after Atlantis is destroyed by the Ori the survivors must decide whom to side with – do they go with Todd and prey they aren't eaten when one of the Wraith get hungry? Do they throw their lot in with the Goa'uld inside Caldwell & hope they aren't turned into Jaffa or brainwashed like the Daedalus's crew? Or do they side with the Genii and hope Cowen/Kolya can put their past aside to fight against a common enemy? Perhaps different people will each join a different group, but all will be united by their desire to avenge the destruction of Atlantis.

337. Any, after the destruction of his fleet, the incorporeal Anubis is able to leave Earth's orbit and get to the SGC slightly earlier than he did in canon. In fact, he gets there just in time to hitch a ride with the Atlantis Expedition to the Lost City of the Ancients...

338. Any, Earth is gone, Atlantis is destroyed. The survivors (+/- what's left of their off-world allies) flee the Goa'uld/Wraith/Ori/whomever by dialing Destiny. Maybe they even have to work together with the Lucian Alliance to reach the Ancient ship and escape their common foe(s)...

339. Any, the "black" SG-1 team from "Ripple Effect" succeeds in stealing Atlantis's ZPM, leaving the city defenseless.

341. AR-1 team, Jack O'Neill|Ra – when John came through the gate, the first clue that this wasn't his Atlantis was seeing General O'Neill, dressed in gold-embroiled blue-red robes and accompanied by dozens of servants, standing atop the gateroom steps and sneering down at him. His second clue came when Jaffa guards ran into the room and demanded that he and his team bow before the "Supreme Lord Ra".

342. AR-1, any. Post-EAtG. They made it back to the San Fransisco Bay, but the entire shoreline was filled with zombies, and they hadn't brought a Jumper.

343. AR-1, Even with the added help of their Tok'ra symbiotes they had still lost and had to run for their lives.

344. Brat'ac, Col. Young, "These shuttles — they are a formidable craft?"

345. Cam/John. Aliens who are tired of Earth's interference in galactic affairs set off an ultra-powerful EMP-type weapon that destroys nearly all electronic equipment on the planet.

346. Carter/Sheppard or Carter&Sheppard. Instead of the Berlin Wall, the world fell in a nuclear hailstorm. If they hadn't been stationed in the Gulf, they'd have been home when it burned down. (Pre-series)

347. Chekhov, Teyla (gen or slash) - at the end they both sat down to drink some tea.

348. Chekhov, Teyla (gen or slash) - he teaches her about Russian tea & traditions, she teaches him how to move on after his world was lost.

349. Crossover with any fandom(s). Any. Collecting survivors along the way.

350. Crossover with BtVS/any. Sam & Teyla & Buffy. Triple apocalypse: aliens, demons, and major natural disasters.

351. Crossover with Numb3rs. SG1 & Charlie/Amita & Colby. After the dust had settled they found a couple of mathematicians and a former Army Ranger/Federal Agent.

352. Destiny survived the end of its creators. Will it survive the end of its new crew, and how does it stave that off? (with the ship's AI as a character, please)

353. John|Anise, she found Atlantis' "voice" disturbing.

354. Larrin, Samantha Carter|Jolinar – the good news was that Sam's engineering skills earned her & Jolinar a place on the crew of Larrin's Traveller ship. The bad news was that their enemies were still after them.

355. RepliWeir, Vala (slash or gen) – Asuran-Weir chooses not to undergo digital ascension and when her Asuran companions have all "ascended" she takes their Aurora warship and flies it to Atlantis, only to find it gone. Making her way to the Milky Way, she discovers Earth has been devastated (by the Wraith Superhive). Elizabeth finds Vala leading a group of survivors who reveal what happens. With their homes gone, Weir and Vala become Space Pirates, using the Aurora to raid Goa'uld worlds & Lucian strongholds for supplies, attacking the Wraith at every opportunity and attempting to organize a resistance.

356. SG-1(/SGA). SG-1. A group of aliens who have been on Earth for decades/centuries suddenly decide to take over the world, and they succeed.

357. SG-1/SGA. SG-1 & AR-1. Subliminal messages caused 99,99% of the world's population to commit suicide. When the teams return from a joint mission to one of Earth's allies they're lucky there's someone left to open the iris.

358. SGA, Ba'al and any Tok'ra, it turns out Ba'al is not dead. He or one of his clones escapes and has somehow made it to Pegasus. He has set himself up as a warlord and is gathering followers, promising to protect the ones that worship him from the Wraith. It turns out to be the truth. How? By making them Jaffa or hosts. He has a queen, and being Jaffa or a host protects you against being sucked dry by the Wraith. How does Atlantis people react to this? What about the Tok'ra? Do they come to Pegasus to help? (Yes). What can they do? Because it turns out Ba'al is fighting the Wraith and winning. Do they even want to stop him?

359. SGA, Hathor, John Sheppard, Tok’Ra character(s), AU diverging from the episode “Vegas” – after barely-surviving his encounter with a life-sucking space-vampire in the Nevada desert Detective John Sheppard thought he was done with aliens for good. Helping some beige-wearing, eye-flashing extraterrestrials stop a homicidal Egyptian goddess & her brainwashed followers from taking over Stargate Command & the world? That definitely wasn’t on his to do list!

360. SGU, they didn't dial the ninth chevron in the pilot, but what they did dial didn't get them home either. Or at least, this can't be home, can it?

361. Sheppard/Mitchell & Vala & Teyla. Atlantis, Earth, and all their allied worlds have been destroyed and [villain(s) of your choice] are actively hunting them.

362. Sheppard/Mitchell(&or/Sam). Cam and John went on a mission only to return to Earth to find everyone except Sam dead at the SGC - and the rest of the world doesn't appear to be any better.

363. Steven Caldwell|Goa'uld/Elizabeth Weir|Goa'uld - every pharaoh needs a queen. With her at his side and the Daedalus & Atlantis under their command, nothing would stop them - not the Wraith, not Ba'al, not even the Ori.
